Scale and ownership
The Morvern Deer Management Group area extends to some 47,000 hectares. Current members’ landholdings cover 39,000 hectares and include the RSPB’s Glencripesdale Reserve, the Rahoy Hills Nature Reserve (part-owned and managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust and part-owned by Ardtornish Estate), properties owned and administered by Forestry and Land Scotland, as well as eight estates currently in private ownership.
